Bio

Cass Harris is a singer/songwriter from Siloam Springs, AR. He began writing songs as soon as he could strum a few cords. Playing and writing just seemed to go together. Music has always been a big part of his life, and he has been influenced by many different artists and styles over the years. You can hear echoes of folk, rock, country and blues in every song-songs fueled by real life. There’s something familiar about the tunes he writes. He sees the world around him, the good and the bad, and he’s not afraid to tell it like it is. His first record was an EP he released in 2008 aptly named Four for the Road. It was a good starting place. It was simple and clean, but deep and provoking. Four songs capturing little moments in time. He has recently finished up a full studio project called These Days. With a full band backing him, Cass’ songs took on a new life and a new depth previously unavailable. Cass married his his wife, Brandi in 2001 and has three kids. He plays guitar and serves at his church, teaches guitar at John Brown University, and loves to cook. He has been known on occasion to get excited about Sooner football.
